The largest beach in Balatonszemes, with pools, sport fields (volleyball, beach soccer, ping-pong), children’s playground and a water adventure park is waiting for those who want to have a remarkable holiday. The slowly deepening water awaits bathers on a 300 meter stretch of a shady beach. Only for 5 minutes of walk from our apartment.

Only 10 minutes of walk in the center of the village you can find several restaurants and souvenir shops, and also museums which enrich the cultural life of Balatonszemes. The Post Museum is situated in a former horse exchange station building and in its yard, and also there are a memorial museums dedicated to artists Zoltán Latinovits and Károly Reich.

Under the hundred-year-old chestnut trees of Bagolyvár Street in Balatonszemes, there is a bridge built like her “big brother” of Italy. According to a local legend, if you wish something while walking across the bridge will come true.
